Meet the team
As the owner and director of Jupiter Steel, Russell is passionate about understanding the intricate details of client needs and ensuring innovative and timely solutions are delivered that exceed all expectations.
With over 50 years experience in all aspects of steel fabrication, he has the knowledge, skill and hands on experience to solve problems before they impact the technical, timeframe or cost aspects of all projects whether they be simple or complex.
John Paul Maglente
As the senior estimator for the last 12 years of which seven years has been with this business, it is fair to say that not only does he enjoy the challenge of each tender or proposal he completes in detail, he also thoroughly enjoys the responsibility of this work.
He often receives client feedback crediting him on the level of detail and lay out of the quotes he provides which is a credit to him and reflects his dedication to getting it right the first time.
With over 20 years of experience as a workshop supervisor John came into the business when a professional was needed to take this aspect of the business to the next level.
He has only recently started this journey but already the benefits of his foresight, making sure work is completed to a timeline and the review of the quality of the work of his team, is paying dividends.
John is given the responsibility to manage all aspects of the workshop and the team from the time the job enters this area to the time it is delivered to the client completed.
Meriel has been heading up the administration of the business since 2013 and has a total of 29 years performing this type of role for a variety of organisations.
Her responsibilities include not only the day to day running of the accounts liaising with the owner, but also includes customer and supplier relations, assisting the director with specific tasks as well as looking after the staff and their various requests.
Her professional approach ensures that nothing is left undone which in turn results in the business and those in it always knowing what is going one and what is required and by when.
